Chief Keef was arrested at his Tarzana, California home on Thursday, January 26, by special operations officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, in connection with a home invasion robbery that allegedly occurred last week.
In videos posted to his Instagram account, a visibly battered and bruised producer by the name of Ramsay Tha Great, claimed the wife of Chief Keef’s former manager, Uncle Ro, called the 21-year old “I Don’t Like” rapper to tell him to calm down.

I done produced songs for him, met him a couple of times … I didn’t think nothing was wrong. I opened the door, boom! He pushed me in. A n!gga behind him got a Draco AK-47 looking thing. He started hitting me in the face. [Glo Gang artist] Tadoe started hitting me in the face.”
Keef allegedly stole a ring, a Rolex and $1600 from the producer.
“It was a violent home invasion involving firearms being pointed at victims,”LAPD Capt. Brian Pratt told KNBC-TV Channel 4. “The detectives did some really great follow up investigation. Witnesses came forward and identified who our suspects were. We knew who we were going after – we weren’t just shooting in the dark.”
Keef and four others were taken into custody without incident.
