Chance came in at #29 on this year’s ranking. The publication acknowledged the entertainer for “subverting the music industry’s traditional business model” as well as his monetary relationships with Nestle, Nike, Twitter, and Apple Music.
At just 24, Chance is the second youngest member of the ’17 selections. Ethereum’s 23-year-old co-founder Vitalik Buterin was also chosen for the “40 Under 40” list (#10).
In addition, Serena Williams (#7), Kevin Hart (#17) and Tristan Walker (#33) were picked by Fortune for the honor.
