Pop singer, Rihanna is mourning the death of her cousin, Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne, 21 who was shot-to-death in Barbados on Tuesday, December 26, just a day after they spent Christmas together.

Posting a series of photos with her cousin, the 29-year-old heartbroken ‘Wild Thoughts’ singer wrote to her 59million Instagram followers:

‘RIP cousin… can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms!’

‘Never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth in your body!!! Love you always man!’

Rihanna added the hashtag, ‘#endgunviolence,’ at the end of the post, calling for the end of gun violence. Rihanna mourns the death of her cousin who was killed after they spent Christmas Day together (Photos)According to the Nation News, Alleyne was walking through a track in the St Michael’s area of Barbados around 7pm Tuesday night when he was approached by a man and shot several times,

The man then fled the scene, and has not been identified.

The 21-year-old was reportedly rushed to a nearby hospital in a private vehicle but eventually didn’t make it due to the injuries he sustained from the gunshot.
