Meek Mill may have won his freedom, but he still locked in a nasty battle with a judge overseeing his case.
Meek’s lawyers filed new documents asking for a new judge to preside over his 2008 drug and gun case The rapper still maintains Judge Genece Brinkley is treating him unfair, even though the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned her decision to lock the rapper up for 2 to 4 years for a series of minor infractions he committed while on probation.
According to Meek, Judge Genece Brinkley is butting into the terms of his bail supervision and makes him check in with her on his every movement, each day.
Meek’s lawyers also accused Judge Genece Brinkley of seeking public by hiring a well known Philadelphia lawyer to make statements about Meek’s case on her behalf.
The rap star’s lawyers point to statements Judge Brinkley made, where she admitted she would refuse to side with prosecutors no matter what, who agreed Meek should be released after evidence surfaced that Meek’s original trial was tainted by a dirty cop.
