Rick Ross has been denied bail and will remain locked up until at least his first hearing on July 1st.

Ross, real name William Roberts, is accused of attacking his groundskeeper, Jonathan Zamudio. According to TMZ, the rapper cornered the worker in the guesthouse bedroom at gunpoint and started questioning him. When he didn’t receive the answers he wanted, Ross allegedly pistol whipped Zamudio twice with a 9mm pistol.

The groundskeeper suffered 2 chipped teeth plus injuries to his jaw and neck. He’s reportedly now on a liquid diet

As we previously reported, Ross and his bodyguard, James Nadrian, were taken into custody Wednesday morning, June 24, by the the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department.
