Drake Responds to Meek Mill’s Twitter Diss—Find Out What the Rapper Had to Say

Meek Mill, Drake
Meek Mill was throwing shots last night on Twitter against Drake, and fans have been anxiously awaiting to see what the Toronto rapper had to say.Well, that time has finally come…even if we weren’t necessarily meant to see it. Drizzy (yes, the actual Drake) addressed Meek’s disses on the social media website via direct message on Instagram, when his friend Hitman Holla (real name Gerald Fulton Jr.) reached out to Drake to show support. And then he posted a screenshot of the conversation on Twitter…

Hey, Drake can handle that on his own, because at least we know how Drizzy feels about everything that was done last night, and it’s actually a pretty flawless response.

“I see da foolishness,” Hitman wrote in a message to Drake. “You know me and Showw not buying it. You our guy. Keep killing. You motivate n—as like us.”The Missouri battle rapper then quoted lyrics from Drake’s “5 AM in Toronto,” writing, “I show love, never get the same out of n—as / I guess it’s funny how money can make change out of n—as, for real.”Drizzy first responded with the praying hands emoji (his favorite) to show his appreciation for Hitman Holla’s words, and then wrote, “I signed up for greatness. This comes with it.”

A slow clap would most-definitely be appropriate at this time. There’s no word if Drake is going to acknowledge Meek’s Twitter rant publicly, but we’re thinking a freestyle battle would settle things, no? Just sayin’.

Hitman Holla continued by tweeting about one very generous act Drizzy did for his family. “Drake sent $$ to my mama Breast Cancer Fund.. That’s my guy.. Lame ass Twitter n—as stop it.. Deeper than Rap!”

For those playing catch-up, after the MTV Video Music Award nominees were announced on Tuesday, Meek took to Twitter to air his beef with the Canadian rapper, saying “Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out!”

He added, “The whole game know forreal they scared to tell the truth! I can’t wait tok these guys and sit back and act like they don’t know!”

As we now know, Drake never defended himself on the media platform, but he didn’t have to– His fans did it for him
